About this event

A free VIRTUAL workshop for caregivers of children and youth with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to discuss caring for the caregiver. This Workshop will be led by the UAB Regional Autism Network Family Navigator and UAB LEND/UCEDD Family Faculty at the UAB Civitan Sparks Clinics, Gwendolyn Brown. Gwen is a parent of an adult son with ASD and has worked as an advocate both professionally and as a caregiver for the past several years. Gwen will be discussing the importance of caring for caregivers of individuals with ASD and ways that she has sought support and community over the years.

Program is free of charge, but registration is required in order to receive the Zoom link to the Workshop.
