Alzheimer’s of Central Alabama Lunch and Learn
Presented by Nicole Ruggiano, PhD, MSW, Associate Professor, Alabama Research Institute on Aging, School of Social Work, at The University of Alabama.
Similar to other areas of healthcare, there has been an increase in the number and types of technologies available to support caregivers of adults with Alzheimer's disease and other types of dementia. This presentation will review how apps, the internet, and other tech tools may be helpful in educating and supporting dementia caregivers, as well as the challenges in developing and using such technology.

Dr. Don Wendorf, retired psychologist/author, and his wife, Lynda Everman, will share from their clinical and personal experience about dementia.
Dinner in the Davis Family Hall from 5:15-6:15 and the Program will begin at 6:15.
