Caregiver Education Stipend Information
June 26, 2023 - August 31, 2024
As of June 1, 2023, Alabama Lifespan Respite will offer one caregiver education opportunity per month where qualified caregivers may be eligible to receive a $25 caregiver education stipend. Caregivers qualify for the stipend by registering online for the event, attending the event, and completing a post-event survey within 24 hours of the event. Qualified caregivers will receive a $25 check from UCP Huntsville by mail within 30 days of the event.
The purpose of each stipend is to give full-time, unpaid family caregivers the ability to pay for respite while attending future caregiver education opportunities. Non-caregivers, respite providers, agency representatives, and other members of the community do not qualify for caregiver education stipends.
